Locums Emergency Medicine Physician opportunity

Schedule
- Day shifts are 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. The department operates seven days a week.
Coverage
- December 2026 coverage: December 8-11, December 19-21, and December 27-29. January 2027 coverage: January 8-10 and January 21-23.
- There may be ongoing needs for future dates.
Care setting
- The assignment includes inpatient and outpatient Emergency Department work.
Patient volume
- Average volume is 36 patients per day, with approximately three admissions per shift/day as reported by the source.
Clinical support
- Support includes Emergency Department RNs and one APP.
Certifications
- Emergency Medicine board certification is required; fellowship is not required.
Experience
- Charting uses Meditech.
Availability and credentialing
- Onsite orientation is required one day before the first block of assigned shifts.
- Credentialing takes approximately 30 days, dependent on document submission; temporary privileges may be granted when needed.
