Locums Emergency Medicine Physician opportunity
Portage, WI
Schedule
- Day shifts run 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM; night shifts run 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM.
Coverage
- Open 2026 day shifts: October 24 and 26; November 2-3, 7, 9-11, 16-17, 20-21 and 27; December 2, 9-10 and 13-16. Night shifts: November 14-15, 2026.
- Ongoing coverage needs are expected in 2027.
Care setting
- Care is provided in an Emergency Department/Urgent Care setting.
Patient volume
- The service sees approximately 40-60 patients per 24 hours.
Clinical support
- Two APCs work alongside a physician during day/evening shifts. General Surgery, Orthopedics and a collaborative Hospitalist team provide support. Telestroke, Tele-ICU and an onsite helicopter are available.

- Emergency Medicine physician coverage is needed in Portage, Wisconsin.
